Signy | Zip-Detail V-Neck Sweater

A zip at the neck of a sweater is either useful or decorative.

On Signy it manages to be both, because the V-neckline opens properly at the throat and the short zip lets you decide how far. Everything else is cut close and left completely plain, so the neckline is the only thing happening on the whole garment.

V-neck with zip detail. The zip runs a short distance down from the neckline, so you set exactly how open the front sits. Closed it reads as a crew neck; open it reads as something else entirely.

Close cut through the body. It follows the line of the body without gripping anywhere, which keeps the sweater usable underneath a jacket. Nothing bunches at the waist when you sit down in it.

Lightweight knit. Warm enough to wear alone through October and thin enough to disappear under a coat in January. That range is what earns it the hanger space.

Plain everywhere else. No pattern, no ribbing and no panel to argue with the neckline. When one detail is doing the work, everything around it should get out of the way.
