A knit over a knit is just a jumper on a jumper. The point of Ragna is that the sweater is knit and the dress underneath is woven, so they sit differently against each other, and the V-neck is what keeps the layer from turning into bulk at the top.

V-neck knit sweater. Cut relaxed rather than close, so the layer reads as deliberate instead of as something pulled on because it got cold.

Fluid woven midi dress. Woven rather than knit, which is why it falls instead of clinging underneath the sweater.

Long sleeves. Full-length on the sweater, which is the reason the set still works in September.

Two separate pieces. The dress stands on its own and so does the sweater, which is two more outfits than the set lets on.
