Standing still it is a detail; walking, it is the entire point of Marte. Long strands run the full height of the shaft, over a block heel and a properly pointed toe.

Full-length fringe. It runs the height of the shaft rather than sitting in a band at the top.

Block heel. Stable enough to walk the distance the fringe needs to do anything at all.

Pointed toe. The western silhouette read properly instead of rounded off at the front.

Pull-on build. No zip and no lace. On, and gone.
