An overlapping panel is what makes Jorunn read as designed rather than assembled — it sits off-centre, which is a decision every other seam then has to respect. Everything below the hip runs wide and completely clean.

High waist. It sits at the natural line, so the wrap detail lands where it can be seen rather than disappearing under a top.

Wide leg. The leg runs wide from the hip down, which is what balances a front that already has something going on.
