The asymmetry on Embla runs the full length of the dress rather than stopping at the neckline — one shoulder, one batwing sleeve, and a hem that finishes on a diagonal. There are pockets in the side seams, which almost nothing at this length bothers with.

One-shoulder neckline. A single strap across one side, which sets the asymmetry everything else on the dress answers to.

Batwing sleeve. One flowing sleeve rather than two, so the covered side balances the bare one instead of matching it.

Diagonal hem. The hem finishes on an angle rather than level, which carries the asymmetry all the way down.

Side seam pockets. Real pockets set into the seams, which a maxi dress almost never gives you.
